Pig has come up with more identifiable licks than anyone, and he's also the best rhythm piano player in town.
Harold Bradley (studio guitarist and Hall of Fame member)
In this quick mini-course, you will learn one of Pig Robbin's most identifiable licks. This has been copied by other keyboardists in country music and in Southern gospel music as well. In the early days of recording this sound was accomplished by the piano player making two passes....one pass to play the rhythm, and another pass to play the melody. In this mini-course, I will show you how to play both at the same time.
Your Instructor
I have been playing keyboards for over 40 years and was a professional keyboardist in the Christian music industry from 1983 – 1993, playing for artists like The Singing Americans and The Nelons. In addition to doing over 200 live shows a year, I did session work in Nashville, Atlanta, Memphis, and Cincinnati.
In 2016, I was honored to be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. In addition to my current role as a worship pastor, I have a keyboard instruction blog, and do arranging, orchestrating, and session work.
Teaching and mentoring others is a passion of mine and I'm excited to share what I know with you. You can indeed play the piano like you always dreamed you would...and I'm here to help you do just that.
